My answer is gonna be a tl;dr if you're a lazy piece of trash, but if you're willin' to read it then go on.
Well I've given my personal reason plenty of times before, but here I go again. So my dad's agnostic and my mom is just spiritual. I was raised to have the choice of my own religion and beliefs unliie those who were commonly forced to believe in something and still do.
Now I [pretended] to be Christian up until I was around ten or eleven because everyone else was doing it. It was sort of a bandwagoning thing. Of course I didn't fully or actually believe it what I said I did. Eventually I found out about atheism and that's just how I've been ever since.
I also figure that people go under religion out of fear of death and personal guidence and believe they need something to make them happy, even if it doesn't exist. |

I'm agnostic, which means I don't deny that there could be an answer, but I don't claim to have any. Therefore, I do believe it could be possible to have a divine ruler, but I also don't believe in any one god or goddess at all, just like any other idea of the origin of everything.
Atheism is just purely saying: I don't believe in a god, or the possibility.
There can be various reasons for this, but pure atheism seems to be the go to these days for people who aren't convinced their ideology is inherently true. Of course, there are people who have had a long history of it in their family, which is possible, but relatively few. |
