"detentions are easy to get just saying you do that, detention you didn't bring that, detention some kid got detention at my school just because he didn't bring paper to class" Well I'd understand if a student wasn't behaving appropriately, not saying your situation falls under this category, but getting detention for not bringing materials to class seems uncalled for to be honest.

i laughed when we were watching a video about ISIS and it showed a graphic scene about someones head getting blown off and his eyeballs popped and and his tongue and everything and i got lunch detention xd

Wow. Poor guy. Honestly, the teacher is kind of punishing himself/herself by having to stay with the student anyways.
