Just in advance, I've had a few hours of sleep in a couple of days so don't expect this post to be at all well presented.
To be brief, I have been working on an item in Studio for some time, (2AM now) and I decided to go ahead and make sure everything was sound by joining the place, usually I'd use the test option but hey ho.
Anyway, whenever I make an attempt to join a game/load Studio a message displays instructing me to "Allow plug-ins on www.roblox.com". There are three steps which are listed as 4, 5 and 6, which tell me to:
4: Click Plug-in blocked
5: Click Always allow plug-ins on www.roblox.com
6: Click Done and start playing!
However, I don't actually get prompted with a plugin blocked or anything of the sort.
This hasn't happened to me before so I simply decided to uninstall and reinstall ROBLOX Player/Studio, this didn't end up working so now I'm here.

Happened to me about 4 months ago, but went away, and it happened to me just now. I just used the Studio mode of roblox to play games but until then just wait until Roblox magically fixes this. |

I'm having this issue also. I looked at my chrome settings, and it said that ROBLOX should be allowed, although it still isn't working. |

This is my daughter'# account and she was having the same issue. I just spent a lot of time trying different things to force the player to start. What worked for me on Windows 7 was making sure I run the Roblox Player as admin. Now it works fine. I hope this is helpful to some of you as well. |

Turns out it was recent updates on the more popular search engines such as Chrome that will disable your ROBLOX plugin, if that is not the case, try reinstalling.
Like I said before, it didn't help me but hey ho. |

Same is happening to me right now... League of Legends has maintenance... So I'm pretty much bummed for playing games the rest of the day. Lol. |

Just got it about a month ago. Tried everything. Nothing works. Studio worked for about 3 days. Until it kept telling my to download roblox. Today I figured out I have reinstalled roblox player 43 times, and it still isnt working

Desert's method is the most efficient. I used it, followed the steps, and now roblox is working fine!

same here i did get the prompt but it still says i have to unblock the plugin omg its so annoying that the browser and studio versions don't wanna work because studio want's me to download the launcher again |
