You wake up and find a letter next to your end table. Their is a stamp of wax on the letter and appears to be the inn's iconic stamp. |

I get up and Open the letter. |
The letter reads "Dear Flamma Maxentius von Mastiermann we have heard about your family, we wish to give you this weapon license for South Forah. The licenses are very expensive but to you they might be cheap. We have trainers for all crafts, trades and skills in all of our inns, our swordsman and pikemen trainers are very skilled. From Travis Agoda" you see a blue folded piece of paper in the letter. |

I check out the blue slip of paper. |
It is an official weapons license. It has a small light blue translucent gem, it makes you feel very energetic. |

I put both the gem and the paper in my pocket and get out of bed and get dressed. I put on a Tricorne, and go into the Inn's main room. |
Their are three doors nearby, one says "Workshop" and the other "Training" while the third one is a hallway that leads to the rooms where people sleep. |

I remember I forgot my pack in my room, so I go back and get it. When I returned to the hallway, I head up to the Workshop, and open the door. |
You see a pale female with what appears to be a pet of some sort. The thing seems to be stitched together, however it is indeed alive. The female turns to you and says "You must be the one Travis told me about", please let me show you around. |

I Smile, and say, " Very well! " |
She shows you her small part of the workshop, she tells you about the fine art of tailoring. You also learn that the pet is a plushling, she then shows you the carpenters part of the workshop. There is a black, short bald man working with a saw, he seems to be very focused on his work. She then shows you the forge of the workshop, you see a child working with what appears to be an tall man. He asks for your name. |

"My name is Flamma Maxentius von Mastiermann. Im a General, and a Military Engineer. Who might you be young sir?", I ask. |
The man replies "I am Jevon Mej, this is my daughter Miranda. I am the trainer for aspiring blacksmiths". |

"Oh, blacksmiths? I was here to work on and invention." I say while opening by bag and taking out a long metal tube with wood attached to the side. I take out a small satchel, and open it, revealing contents of dark black powder. |
He seems to be studying the invention very closely. He asks "What does it do?" he is seemingly intrigued by your inventions. |

"Well, in theory... if this black powder is ignited, it explodes with a force enough to send a pebble through a man's body!"
I explain. " Although, if only I could get this thing to be able to fire a pebble sized object in a straight path accurately, this would make fantastic for military use. Alas, I haven't succeeded yet. I'm trying to make this work with a flint and steel, but I haven't tested this yet... nor am I using the perfect material for the device."
I take out a few scrolls and books depicting the device and it's functions out of my bag.
"Now then, think you can help me out here?"
( I'm thinking after we get the gun finished, we do some war stuff with the military? ) |
He seems to be thinking it over. He asks "If I provide the materials necessary for this device, if it goes on sale could I get 10 % of the profits?" he seems to be already very excited. |

"Sure thing, but this might be in markets all over the place after military support. " I say. " Now the question is... How should the muzzle be made? I've tried various models, and all failed. Any clue on what to do? I guess extending the muzzle will work, but will it?" I ask. |
