It's worth it, because the game is really good. Pokemon Ruby was my first Pokemon game so this definitely has a nostalgic feeling to me. |

Series games tend to have the same basic principle. Different Pokemon, moves, map, and stories being adding is not "the same thing over and over" if it's mostly the mechanic that stays the same. |

Each particular game has its own added features, unique to a particular region. It's much more than just beating Gym leaders and getting badges if you choose the proper games. |
