At the age of 5, you would be taken away from your parents.
You would be school property. at age 12, you would have a number tattooed on your arm.
You were not allowed to talk unless told to, no socializing, no nothing.
If you were to misbehave, they would lock you up for a week. If you were bad enough, you would have dash marks cut into your forehead to show how many times you were bad.
There was no such thing as art, history was wiped out.
You had to run 6 miles a day in PE.
After 18 years boys, and some girls who were in the best shape, went to military. |
