Everything seems to be in order. A quick look through the peephole reveals a single body slumped against the wall across the hall from you. It looks dead, however, looks can withhold a great deal many things.

You gather your weapons as well as your backpack, which holds about a day or twos worth of food and water.

Not at this moment. A few have gone by every once in a while. However your vantage point of the street is limited, so there may be some right out of view. |

I stand up, grab my weapon, and run away once more. This is really building up my endurance and speed, isn't it? Like track team, I'd say. I think of perhaps sneaking up from behind them and looting their trucks. In fact, noting that they can hear barely ANYTHING from that gas mask and considering the SWAT person's shot, they could even be intoxicated. So I follow the plan to sneak up behind them and steal automatic weapons and armor from their truck. Grand. |

Hmm, I want to gather my supplies in a duffel bag. Supplies that can be useful. And I'd like a melee weapon so I don't have to waste my bullets. |

While on top of the roof I look to the streets below and observe what's going on. I take count of my ammo and magazine capacity, and how many magazines I have. |

Leave the room, look both ways outside of the doorway. If it's clear, I go ahead and investigate the corpse and see what I can salvage.

Petyr saw the infected man running at him and he immediately crouched down, assuming a comfortable firing position to aim and shoot at the undead a few times.
He made sure the door to room was open, so that way he could quickly escape if needed. |

You gather your things. As fro Kelsey weapons you find a rather large "chef knife". The thing has a rather large blade and seems like it could kill something very easily.

Many infected persons wander the streets below. It appears that the police had, at one point, had a standoff with the infected. Judging by the number of police bodies versus infected bodies, it did not go well. Most of the buildings on this street are on fire.
You have two magazines of Light Pistol ammunition.
-Kendriff-
The corpse appears to have at one point been a police officer. He seems to have been looted previously, as he has no pistol nor the ammunition that would have likely go with it. You do, however find a police baton and a radio.
-Gallican-
The bullets strike the man primarily in the torso area. This causes the man to stumble back a couple of paces. However, he continues to run at you.
-Tess-
You'll first have to distract them somehow, as taking them head-on will surely end in death.

The infected man is about ten or so feet and closing. The shots seem to have slowed him down slightly.

Yes, you do. However, the vast majority of the streets are likely to be completely impassable. Plus, you vaguely recall hearing the news say that the military were under orders to open fire on any vehicles that approached the "exclusion zone".

Grab the radio, discard the baton. A crowbar does what a baton does but more brutally and can be used as a tool too. One I take the radio, I check if it has batteries and look both ways down the hallway.

You are grabbing the baton when, suddenly, the mans eyes open. The eyes immediately lock onto you, as the dead man's jaw drops and he grabs onto your still outstretched arm with one hand.

The hallway empty, however on one end someone has barricaded up the hall with sofas and chairs. You can't go that way. There's no sign of whoever did that.

[No problem, it was my mistake.]

The crowbar glances off its head. It is still alive and now has grabbed you with its other arm. It seems like its trying to pull your hand into its mouth.
