Sony didn't push its console to the limit with 1080p. 720p is perfectly fine as long as there's 60fps.

720p is blurry and ugly. 1080p pleasures my eyes.
How bout instead of investing in a cruddy console ya buy a gaming PC, if you don't already have one. |

It's 2014. PC has been pushing 1080p 60 fps for ages whilst the consoles can barely do that or not do it at all.
The consoles are weak. The XB1 probably has the GPU equivalent of a 7790 whilst the PS4 has the GPU equivalent of a 7850.
Neither is impressive. |

I don't really see a difference between 720p and 1080p except sharpness but when you're sitting far away from your TV, you can't tell.

Try 4k if you can't see the difference. Well, assuming you can afford it. If you're sitting that far away from your TV though and it's a flat screen, I think it's capable. |

Wii U is seriously neglected in these aspects. Smash Bros. runs at 1080p 60fps even with the amazing graphics and is ignored. |

Duck, my TV is 4k, and the monitor I am using is also 4k. 4k TV's aren't even that expensive anymore. Mine is an OLED UHD 4k TV with smart features and I got it for less than 3k.

A 7870 cant beat the GTX 660ti in performance because a 7870 is slightly weaker. The only way I see that point being applicable is in AMD optimized games. |

Duck, PS4 could achieve 100fps+ with that game LOL. They made Watch Dogs for Wii U and it can't even keep a solid 20 fps. And yes, I said 20fps.

My point is that PS4 has better graphics than WiiU. WiiU's WD graphics are comarable to last gen except it has worse frames. PS4 maintains a solid 30 FPS unless there are GPU-heavy scenes where it drops to a minimum of 28FPS. I saw this on digitalfoundery's YT channel. WiiU's version of WD is also 1080i.

Wahey, atleast the Wii U doesn't try to be something it's not. The Xbox One and PS4 strive to be like top end PCs and boast of high resolutions and framerates when they can barely achieve it or not at all. |
