Wouldn't this cost ROBLOX more, since they now have to run thousands of servers at different frames per second? It sounds good, but doesn't improving the smoothness of your servers cost something? Maybe ROBLOX's game engine just isn't powerful enough to handle games above 60 FPS. Tell me if I'm wrong about any of the above statements. These are all just guesses/theories. I'm no computer expert.

How is 60 fps choppy? Spoiled much? I have to play World Of Tanks at 30 fps on medium settings.

I Support But probably will never happen. Its locked because of speedhacking. (Hopefully you know what that is) The reason why it speedhacks is because to you you're moving Normal but to others you're probably zipping around everywhere

@Ryanboy, your eye is like 24 FPS IIRC. But you don't fell like your eye is lagging. Playing games at 100 FPS, your eyes see it at 24 FPS. I am sorry but no support. People with highet FPS are OP to people with lower FPS; because lower FPS means more lag which means a multitude of things, some of which are desync issues, walkspeed slowdown (and speed hackers going 1000 FPS), and more stuff.

I can run watch dogs on ultra graphics and get 60 frames, I think there should be an option to cap the frames in roblox but not force you to get 60 frames only. The reason why I said I can run watch dogs bla bla bla was because I may get like 240 frames on some roblox games.

>Wouldn't this cost ROBLOX more, since they now have to run thousands of servers at different frames per second? It sounds good, but doesn't improving the smoothness of your servers cost something? No. The servers don't actually render the game for every computer - that's why a slow PC gets a worse framerate in games than a powerful one, because the individual PCs are doing the work. >Spoiled much? I have to play World Of Tanks at 30 fps on medium settings. Just because you can't play ROBLOX at more than 60 FPS doesn't mean no one else can be able to. >your eye is like 24 FPS IIRC. But you don't fell like your eye is lagging. Playing games at 100 FPS, your eyes see it at 24 FPS. Your eyes are not monitors, and don't run at frames per second at all. Your eyes are special and based around movement, while monitors just flash images repeatedly. Framerate isn't an attribute that can be applied to eyes. >People with highet FPS are OP to people with lower FPS; because lower FPS means more lag which means a multitude of things, some of which are desync issues, walkspeed slowdown (and speed hackers going 1000 FPS), and more stuff. 1) Desync is not caused by a slow computer (if we're talking about the same thing - your PC becoming desynchronized with the server) - it is caused by a slow connection. 2. Walkspeed doesn't 'slow down' at slow FPS. Framerate only affects how often images are prevented to your PC, and how often your character (and actions) are displayed to other people (kinda). Someone playing at 1000 frames per second does not mean their game will be 'faster' than someone playing at 10 frames per second - it just means they will be updated more frequently. I'll be recording a video in a game where this is easy to show so I can help explain it to you better.

Play Super Smash Bros 4 and focus on the framerate. Now play a 2009 ROBLOX game. Does SSB look choppy to you now? They both run at 60FPS. I think that ROBLOX runs smoothly enough to be playable. No support, as this wouldn't be needed.

The average human eye perceives about 45 FPS. It can go to the extremes of 255 FPS if you train your eye/brain (yes you can), and of course it can be below 45 FPS. Currently, I cannot tell the difference between 30 and 60 (because my eyes are terrible), but I probably could if my 6 year old computer could actually reach the 60 FPS limit of my monitor. No support here, there really isn't a need for the change, as most people cannot see about 45 FPS, and 60 FPS is a safe limit for ROBLOX right now.

"Currently, I cannot tell the difference between 30 and 60 (because my eyes are terrible), but I probably could if my 6 year old computer could actually reach the 60 FPS limit of my monitor." No, it's just your monitor. There is a drastic difference between 30 and 60.

"No, it's just your monitor. There is a drastic difference between 30 and 60." Did you read my comment or just ignore it? If the average person cannot see above 45, then how can they see 60? My monitor does reach 60 Hz, its just not noticeable for me in all videos I've seen.
