The President has transferred to us his nomination of Vice President. Under the 25th, we must approve his nomination of Jcmand to the office of Vice President of the United States before he can take up office. The House is also required to vote, but will do so on a seperate thread.

How selfish of the others to reject the best candidate for Vice President.
It's obvious he'll be active in Congress, and it's obvious he'll remain impartial - because he did while he was Speaker.
If you can't stand to have an active Congress, go ahead and leave so your vote doesn't count.

probably because they're marinio's bumchums and have no idea what's best for our country
they literally voted against giving citizens a bigger say in our government, and i asked every single citizen in the gallery if they supported the bill - everybody said yes

Under the 25th amendment, when the President resigns then the Vice President takes over via line of succession. Then, the President appoints a Vice President if that office is vacant. As we have seen I think 3 or 4 times this term.
Then, the 25th amendment of the Constitution requires that whoever the President decides to appoint then requires a majority approval from both houses of Congress, which would be the House of Representatives and the United States Senate.
If you care to read the whole amendment, I suggest you read it on the Cornell Legal Information Institute since it contains legit copies and useful information such as Case Law and Statue.

Please explain how I'm power hungry. I stepped down under my own will from Speaker.
I had a shot at President earlier but I remained at Speaker.
Honestly, Vice President is the highest on my bucket list.

Nay, I respect jcmand to the fullest and I know he did a great job as Speaker. I think the SC needs him more then the Senate. I would alos like to see fresh faces in the exevutive branch instead of the same people who have had high office before.I still respect you jc sorry!
