As of now, I mostly read YA (young adult) books. Just finishing off a series at the moment and then going onto The Maze Runner, but I'll probably get them finished rather fast. Any recommendations? The Tunnels book series by Roderick Gordon & the Skulduggery Pleasant series by Derek Landy. At least, that's what I've been reading lately and they're both pretty great.

Bah. Young adult books? Please. [x2] If you need series, the Barsoom books, and the Matt Helm books are good, although they aren't as terrible as Young Adult if that's what you're looking for.

Even though its 2016, Im sitll going to reply to this. Books are better than movies because they have one advantage movies don't; your own imagination. Any Percy Jackson Fans? :3

I'd grab some Margaret Atwood, Oryx and Crake along with the rest of the MaddAddam trilogy if you're into dystopia.

like MxdHxtter said, you should definitely try the Percy Jackson series, it's waaay better and different than the movie. And if you like horror books, then you should try reading The Enemy by Charlie Higson.
