...and the teacher said it could be as outlandish as we wanted it to be, so while everyone else was writing about realistic futures (get a job, a house, a spouse, a kid), I wrote about curing the common cold, inventing the flying car and the holographic communicator, learning 12 languages, traveling the world, visiting outer space, and living to be 100.
