do you guys have to use that website called naviance?
because i'm looking at the university of texas and it says that act=30. can i still get in with a 29? its not my final act score, but it's what i'm projected to get after i took one last practice act test this week. |

yes i do use it
and no, you most likely will not get into the university of texas
my friend got rejected with a 3.9 (advanced classes), 1980 SAT and 31 ACT |

UT, A&M and Rice are the hardest schools in Texas to get into
try TCU, Baylor, Texas Tech (anyone can get accepted here), or Houston
you would probably get accepted to all of those with a 29 ACT and decent grades |

a&m looks the hardest to get into, and i'm pretty positive i won't get in
not interested in rice
ut is a school that i really want to get into, but i'll have to pretty much do a perfect job in school now
if this fails, then kansas looks to be my #1 choice as well as houston |

Kansas is also one of my top choices
And Houston is a good school, and has fantastic people, but just so you know, it's located in one of the crappiest and most run down areas of town in 3rd Ward, and trust me, you don't want to live there.

Are you kidding me? That's the best part of UH. It's in downtown Houston. Where do people NOT go to hang out?
Ask me about one place and I can assure you it's located within 10 minutes of UH |
