right so, i live in britain and go to a normal british school (not a religious one or anything like that). a girl in my class though that britain would be the same size as USA and countries like that and then my teacher shot her down and told us how arrogant, ignorant and irrelevant britain is and how we think we're big bc we had an empire. it amused me

I can tell you right now that the UK is pretty well-off right now. The real places having problems are Poland, Belarus, Ukraine especially... Basically almost every eastern european country.
