The Spathiá of Phocaea is the main fighting force of the Republic of Massilia. It is the main offensive and defensive force that is publicly open for volunteers interested in the military aspects of Massilia. It specialises in swift engagements and even swifter defences that operate under our current Chancellor, Kitarchie. It drives all military war-time operations, and if needed, used as the raiding force against hostile troops, or even for private security for the Chancellor.

Recruitment and Administration.
All recruitments are administrated by the High Government and I. After each recruitment, names are administrated and kept as a note that is open to the High Government.
There are two types of recruitment. Public, which is announced in the main group, and private. If you publicly get recruited, you MUST serve for the maximum of a month before leaving. At each recruitment, you will be given the date. After a month has passed, and if you are unfortunately wishing to leave the military role you are currently at, you have the ability to contact a HR for an honourable discharge.
A private recruitment gives the Hoplite the choice of selecting how long they serve on a term basis. This is a much more flexible way for the people that may have a time zone that the Officers do not. Those who want to be privately recruited may simply just contact an officer, and notify him.
A last way in which you may join an army is through conscription. This is strictly used in the event that military forces are lacking whilst in wartime. All non-urgent civilians will be FORCED to join the army. Those who are conscripted will not be allowed to leave unless the Chancellor allows you to. Furthermore, those that are conscripted may leave when the Chancellor announces the end of wartime.

Leadership.
The Spathiá of Phocaea is levied by Chancellor Kitarchie and the council. This means that all end choices are decided by him and his council, and if needed to, they can command the army. The Axiomatik is the senior Officer and can run the army in the event that the Stratigos cannot. The Stratigos is commander of the army, and is the one that controls overall administration, recruitment and wartime assaults/defences.

Terms.
Terms are elaborated on due to how crucial it is. In a summary, it is a selection of words that is permitted whilst on duty. Your terms are "YES NO SIR".
Yes and no are for answering questions. "SIR" is replaced by the rank of the Officer you are talking to. In order to gain the attention of an Officer, you simply state their rank. Every military personnel are to learn terms.

Equality throughout the military.
This cannot be strained enough due to how important it is. ALL armies are equal and work in collaboration. No army has power over another unless they make their own group-associated place. At places associated with Massilia, all armies are equal.
