They're starting to give iPads to the sixth graders at my middle school and I'm wondering if there's any reason why they're doing that now. My friends wonder if they're doing that because in high school, they hear that all the freshman get laptops.
I guess it depends where you live. |

Some do. My school wouldn't do that cos they'd never get it back. But my girlfriend's school gives them MacBooks.
My middle school said that we would, never happened.
I never got anything cool in my school career. |

Do you guys keep those laptops until senior year?
That's what they're doing with the sixth graders, who are keeping them until eight I hear.
I basically thought they always gave laptops because in my middle school right now (eight grade), we need the Internet to print out most of our documents and charts. |
