in my experience i've noticed that clans that do both don't focus on both in training, they tend to focus on one more than the other

Gun clans purely because if you have a gun, in the mean time while you wait for them to walk over to you and stab you, you've put so many bullets in them and they're miles away.

Depends on the fort in my opinion, if you have a relatively small fort id rather use swords, big for guns..
