You could tell I was trailing 24-7 at halftime. Our defense absolutely sucked. Our offense had a slow start (1 first down in 1st half and limited opportunity). Our offense won the game. It woke up and I can already tell our offense is going to bail our defense out greatly this season. Manning was flawless but the Jaguars big plays with Shorts III, Nicks, and Bryant helped pull this one out. In the 4th quarter Prater missed a crucial 57 yd FG (I don't know why the heck they attempted it, it was way off) which gave us great field position with a 1:22 left. Thanks to our big plays I left 0:21 on the clock (had to wait awhile there could've been 1:00 left and denver could've gotten the game-winning FG). I would expect us to lose if that 57 yd FG was made OR I didn't chew off the clock. The reason there's that FG at the end of the game was because the Broncos couldn't convert a 4th down at their own 30 yd line. No sportsmanship for the CPU. ✓DominantShredder 10/28/2012 - 3/17/2014✓★ Add 11k posts to post count ★

FUN FACT: Peyton Manning and his Broncos are winless against the Jaguars when I've been coach (4-0, including postseason) and we are also 2-0 against them in preseason. ✓DominantShredder 10/28/2012 - 3/17/2014✓★ Add 11k posts to post count ★

That's 2 straight games now he's taken one to the end zone. This game wasn't competitive at all and it doesn't look like Houston will go anywhere with Osweiler. Hill did terrible but everyone else picked up the slack. The Hopkins 80 yd pass showed me I'll never end my no sportsmanship for the CPU. Jones-Drew had a stat line that looked like he was playing against a pro difficulty defense. A nice start to our season with the all-pro difficulty intact. ✓DominantShredder 10/28/2012 - 3/17/2014✓★ Add 11k posts to post count ★

With 1:24 in the 1st half Hill could've drove it down the field and make it 21-17 JAX at halftime which would be a whole other story but no! He throws an INT, Rodgers has it at the 46 with barely any time and throws up a prayer (he was about to get sacked) it was caught, and later they got the TD. Even our last drive in the 4th after Crosby's FG, we couldn't finish it. At the 1, I try to fool GB with a draw but it doesn't go so well. This loss came with a price to, KR/WR Johnny Knox (shares KRs with Ace Sanders) broke his collarbone after a pretty good KR. The problem I'm having with the all-pro team is one that the offense is pretty impossible to start (I haven't forced a punt in the last 2 games, even that blowout against Houston), while I have always been bad at defense. Usually the offense picks up the slack but all-pro defense takes it to a whole other level. Hill has all of his WRs double-covered or a guy in the slot is open but the safety smashes the slot guy once I decide. Drops are now becoming a factor. Also we're getting behind early in games and we don't establish our running game. WEEK 4 (1-3) Colts 10 (3-1) Jaguars 31 KEY PLAYERS: OFFENSE: JAX: QB Billy Hill 8-15, 171 yds, 4 TDs (3 pass, 1 rush), INT JAX: HB Maurice Jones-Drew 22 rush, 101 yds JAX: QB Billy Hill 2 rush, 28 yds, TD JAX: WR Hakeem Nicks 3 rec, 105 yds, TD IND: QB Andrew Luck 12-21, 149 yds, INT IND: HB Jerel Boone 12 rush, 31 yds, TD (ROOKIE OUT OF NEW MEXICO STATE) IND: WR T.Y. Anyway excluding the 1st half this game was not close at all. Sanders didn't make it 4 in a row but he helped set up great field position on good punt returns (3 att for 64 yds, 21.3 avg). This win came with a price like last weeks loss: QB Billy Hill suffered a lower back strain after scrambling out of the pocket for a 9 yd TD. It wasn't series and he'll start week 5 vs the winless Jets. It's not the first time he's had injury troubles: last year on a read option play Hill got stuffed, broke his collarbone, and missed the rest of the regular season. I guess I must be more careful with moving him around. ✓DominantShredder 10/28/2012 - 3/17/2014✓★ Add 11k posts to post count ★
