They say; "If you have nothing ice to say, don't say it at all" and "Not telling is a lie". So, not saying something that's on your mind is lieing, whether if it's mean or not, but you shouldn't say mean things because even though you feel that way it's not nice. Yet, that would make you a liar on one hand, or just not nice on the other, therefore isn't a paradox created?

The person's opinion on the subject may not be entirely negative, It's entirely possible for an individual to genuinely adapt their thinking to fit the circumstances. Additionally, what the individual may consider "Kind" can actually be considered "Unkind" by the opposing side thus this isn't necessarily a "Paradox".
