The Light Story:
You wake up with a bright light in your eyes... Was this heaven? Your last memories were of extreme pain. The light clears, and you see the most fascinating thing. An angel. You begin to gasp, and the angel smiles. "A-am I dead?" You manage to stammer.
"No." The angel replies. It seems to be female. "It's not your time to die." She reaches down, and helps you up.
"Where am I?" You inquire. "And what happened to me?"
"You died." She replied plainly, still smiling. "And moved on."
"But to where?" You reply. You look around where you are. It looks like a tent. "I can't imagine that this is heaven."
She laughs softly. "No." She explains. "You were needed. You see, the Void, and the Light are at a constant war. Since the beginning of time. Those who die are enlisted into this war. Well, as long as we get to them before the Void." She trails off, seemingly distracted.
"So..." You say. "What can I do to help."
She hands you a pistol. It is silver in colour, and has an angel engraved into the side of it. "Go." She gestures towards the door. "And may the Light watch over you."
You walk out of the door an emerge in hell. Everyone is screaming, and gunfire flashes everywhere. You seem to be in a destroyed, post-apocalyptic city. You quickly run to the nearest cover. This would be a looooong day...

The Void Story:
You awake writhing in pain. Your last memories were of pain, but not nearly as bad as this. The pain slowly fades, then vanishes entirely. You turn to see a face not far from yours. It would pass as a humans, except for the eyes. They were like looking into the pits of hell themselves. All you could see in them were death, torment, and cruelty. You avert your eyes, and take in the rest of his appearance. He is wearing a strange uniform, and sandals. He looks to be about thirty. "I see you are awake." He says.
"Where... where am I?" You inquire.
"You died." He explained. "But it was not your time."
"But..." You stammer. "Is this heaven?" You manage to ask.
"No." He said, chuckling. "Not even close." He picks up a handgun and hands it to you. It is black in colour, and has a demonic creature engraved into it. "Take this, and go." He says. "You will know what to do. I have also granted you the tools to do it."
You think it wiser not to ask questions, and head out of the tent. You emerge on a battlefield. You are standing next to a pool of blood, which you gaze into. You notice that, to your shock, you are no longer fully human. You hear gunfire in the distance, and the hunt begins...
