12/21/2014 TRA Official Newsletter Issue 143 ‘The Winter Frog’ Creator’s Note: Not sure how I feel about this issue.. It’s been an interesting two weeks. Several clans have declared war upon us, an old fort has been revived from the dead, and we've lost several High Ranks. We also have a Christmas logo and the end of the year is approaching really fast, and of course, we have the Member of the Week. Keep reading to learn more! This week, an old base was revived. This base is known as Fort Rana, also known as Fort Frog. It was created by thea96 and the TRA Developers, and now has a wintry Christmas theme, featuring newer technology which was released with Fort Kaeru. Despite many glitches that came with the fort and its old technology upon being launched again, several updates have seemed to have fixed the problems that arose. We’re likely to keep Rana until the completion of Project Excel in the spring, so until then, get familiar with the base and have fun defending! Recently, The Clockwork Corporation and Sleet Clan declared war on us. Although the war with TCC was declined, we are still waiting on a response to Sleet Clan. At the moment, the terms are basic, making it a short war to 20 wins with no changes to either side’s base without full approval of the other side. Until there is an official response, have fun defending Fort Rana! This week, we lost several High Ranks. LegoExo resigned from Colonel, and HKHunterKiller, resigned for good. Sadly, several HRs were also demoted today. Colonels Sneakyjenrosey143, Nikolai001, and 12mophead were demoted. We will miss them, and wish them good luck if they try to re-earn their rank. Thank you, and good luck. Today, the winner of the Christmas Logo Contest was announced. The winner of the contest was mcmartion, whose logo was released today. If you hadn’t noticed, go take a look at the logo – it’s up now for the rest of Christmastime. Congratulations, mcmartion, and Happy Holidays to all of TRA! The end of the year is approaching very fast. It’s a busy time, with all the holidays that occur around this time. And of course, with the end of the year, comes a review of an entire year that has passed. 2014 was a good year for us, and a lot of stuff happened – I can’t remember it alone.
