@harper
Definitely agree with 2011, Game 4 & 6 were absolutely ridiculous and should've been won by the Canucks.

lmao can you not talk about the Tampa/Calgary series?
It was proven that that puck never crossed the line so shut the hell up. |
|

you're like those buffalo fans who still get upset over NO GOAL even though it's been fifteen years and nobody cares
it's done and over with and nobody can change the outcome, get the hell over it |
|
|
@ canadians whining about how their teams got 'screwed' when in reality they probably just sucked and couldn't win |

Also how were the refs bias in the 2004 series? The flames were given one of the worst power plays I have seen in the NHL. It was in Game 7 and Nolan Pratt was given an interference penalty. Want to see how bad the call was? Go to 3:07

Canada needs to just make their own leagues. None of their teams in any league has been champions since the early 90s.
99% of SF haven't seen the Blue Jays in the playoffs.
No Canadian team has won the Cup since the Canadians in 1993.
Don't get me started with how Canadian clubs do in MLS.
This is the first year in FOREVER that the Rapters have even been sorta relevant. |

Regardless of whether the goal was in or not, the referees interfered with the outcome of the series.
It makes sense that NHL does everything it can to avoid a Canadian Stanley Cup winner, Bettman has invested alot into branding the NHL as American. TV Ratings would implode if a Canadian team won a cup, and an all-Canadian match up would be a complete disaster for Bettman. |

no, i think you're just butthurt that every canadian team except the canadiens is terrible and can't play worth half a damn when it's crunch time |

The NHL is a Canadian League, it's headquarters have been in Toronto for nearly a century.
America should make their own hockey league. |

Canucks how butthurt and ignorant are you? Regardless if you think the goal in Game 6 was in or not both teams had a 50/50 chance of winning in Game 7. Tampa was given an awful penalty in Game 7. How can you say we didn't earn the cup? |

Let's keep in mind that 29/30 of all NHL teams have a roster where there are more players from Canada than from any other single country. The only one that doesn't is Detroit (7 Americans, 7 Swedes, 6 Canadians).
Of those teams, several have a roster where a majority of the entire player roster is from Canada. |

America should make their own hockey league.
we already have one, it's called the "National Hockey League" and we've taken home its championship 22 years straight |

So you think marketing doesn't exist? Bettman needs American Stanley Cup winners to boost the TV Ratings. |

No I think your trying to support a stupid conspiracy. |

the actually canadian teams must get all the scraps from the other teams then |
|

no he doesn't canadians alone probably give him enough ratings money to sustain the league for the next five years |

A leagues Nationality is based on where the Headquarters are, the NHL was founded with 4 Canadian Teams. It was originally meant to be the highest tier in Canadian Hockey. Please learn hockey history before making stupid comments like that. |
