They were severely depressed, and these people were sending them hateful comments and threats. We're not just talking about an "l0l y0u're so dumb". We're talking about threats of them knowing them in real lives and mortifying them or such and such. |

The threats didn't make the persons depressed, it broke them. The people were already severely depressed.
And no, I don't think the police are in on this. I don't know why. But I know the Tumlr support team is, and they might get the police involved. |

Pathetic, they took it a bit seriously. Obviously arrogant young teens who can't take a few internet throwbacks.
Did they think hiding themselves in tumblr was going to solve anything? No.
Anyone who commits suicide over a social media site of any sort obviously needed a psychiatrist or psychologists.
I hold sympathy but find their behavior a disgrace.

Tumblr is like a firing squad-style execution, y'know. The only difference is that 4chan doesn't offer you a smoke to relax you before the bullets rain down. Nope. You get so engulfed by the cancerous Tumblr community and before you know it a gust of wind has your feelings hurt. It's stupidity brought on by self.
I'm a sensible guy and I know that harassing people is a terrible thing to do, but when you wanna off yourself because someone told you that Invader Zim was stolen from E.T., I can't say much in support. |

Let me tell you what depression is, nevermind severe depression.
Depression is when you want to do nothing because nothing brings happiness or pleasure to you. That means you don't go on the internet.
I was in a state of depression once where I just sat in my room awake, and when I wasn't awake I slept. I didn't text anybody. I didn't check my email. I didn't move much. My phone was right under my pillow, too.
If you can get onto tumblr and get le epik triggerrr by anon hate then you are not depressed. |
