Mhm, it is possible for bullying to affect oneself beyond childhood. It may change their personalility when they engage into conversations with other people. It may influnece the person who is being bullied to take dr*gs, which will cause many issues for their future. Bullying can also affect one's will to live, as they will think death is the one way to be free. And bullying will always remind those victims, and they may fall into despair all over again.
The Constitution only guarantees the American people the right to pursue happiness. You have to catch it yourself. |

it could cause depression and they might not want to go to school anymore (assuming the bullying happens at school) which will affect them in the long run if they stop going to or actually trying in their classes so they won't get a good job

obiviously it can, if the bullying is bad enough
minor bullying - you'll forget it in days or weeks, maybe months
but major bullying is when you like get insulted by all of the class and hard, or get beaten up
mainly physical harm
emotional harm can damage you too but not so commonly
