i personally believe old sf users are just people who are butthurt that they have no skill or ability to adapt to the new system but y'know thats just my opinion
to validate my opinion further i have been on TBS's battle team and we had a notoriously high sword duel k/d ratio back several months ago

Tbh, old animation sword fighting isn't as easy as you think it is. You do have valid points, but new animation makes everything boring. Old animation is a challenge since you have dodge and time yourself. I have to admit I sf'ed in new animation and compared to the old animation, since I was a classicer. I seen that the reach is different, such as in new animation jumps causes major reach when your opponent turns his/her back on you. Old animation reach physics isn't as bad as new. Old you could reach but at a reasonable length. New it's crazy on how fair you can get reach from.
Off topic; I like to run with my sword in old, than to walk and look like I'm waddling in new. |

Plus most sf clans use old animation sword fighting cause of meadows. Meadows with new looks very ridiculous. Say you're jumping down a tower in meadows, cause of the new jump in new animation, it makes your sword go into the tower not hitting the person.
But if meadows wasn't ever made, old animations would have been dead when physics changed. |

I don't think the small lag should be there when you sword glitch and jump up high (which probably shouldn't be allowed anyways), I think that's the one bad thing about the new animations
But honestly there's a lot of ways to beat lag, the guy who I challenged for the 100 robux saw that himself when he tried to lag kill me for the duel. I like to think of it as apart of the game and just another thing to adjust to, and yet another variable added in sfing when the new animations came |

New developement: SGing in old anims lags just like new animations, but since the sword is up no one gets hit and complains about it |

This is in both old and new, hell it is even in gun fighting.

No it does not? The reach is the same as if you are lunging on the ground. There is no real difference other than the way old animations makes your sword pull up instead of stab when you jump. There is not reach increase when you jump than if you are on the ground.

No????? Sir do you know how to script? Please explain to me how the change in the animations has all of a sudden added more reach? Oh wait you cant, really it does nothing.

none of the ways is actually better, except for the undisputed advantage at meadows, and smaller amount of lag old has. people that are better SFers usually tend to favor old animations, same with better clans. team domino adapted to new animations pretty quickly, make them go to war with V O I D and see who wins. |

when i hit someone in new animations, they don't die, but when i do it in old, it makes a hell of alot more sense
