Can we use periods and underscores in our usernames?

I just don't see the problem in letting people create usernames like R0BL0X0_2, R0BL0X0.2, etc.

I don't support allowing periods in usernames, but I support adding dashes and underscores.

Some scripts wouldnt work with periods and underscores. And this would allow some users to get away with swears in their name.

I wish people would stop saying "Scripts wouldn't work" because that's not true. This is a script that I created, and it works just fine. local Part = Workspace[".pART."] Part:Destroy() See? There's a period, yet all I had to do was use [" "] and it still worked.

I'm really not sure why they stopped letting us use .'s and spaces in our name. You live in a BOX your life is a BOX, you will never get out of the BOX so long as you refuse to accept the existence of anything but the BOX.

@hardsalami because people were changing their names into things hard for people to type or say, when scripting got more complicated things didnt work as well for users with certain characters in their name, and alot of people were changing their names to other websites. I remember seeing a certain lewd site name as a users name.

I see you don't understand. The scripts that are ALREADY IN THE GAME won't work because they may not be formatted like that. And a ton of games would be broke just so you can have a stupid period in your username. Defiantly No support.
