So I don't have to keep re-posting 'bump' in threads I like.
Users can only bump 1 thread every 5 minutes.
Once a thread has been bumped, it cannot be bumped for at least 15 minutes. |

Yeah, perhaps that reason could be that I'm in Germany, and being that there is a several-hour time difference from here to North America, I'm bumping it so that people who are typically on when I'm not can see it to.
Like when you come out with a new product, you don't just advertise it in one town, you move around and share the word- which could lead to it becoming popular. |

If you had said bump in another thread, your post will be blocked to prevent spam.
The point of the 5-15 minute wait is so I cannot just open 8 threads, and bump them all at the same time.
Plus, by not saying bump, we don't just have the word bump filling in pages and wasting space. |

Almost every forum ever bumps by posting. ROBLOX uses an external forum engine that makes it harder to edit. To be perfectly fair, there are a lot better updates they can do to the forums before this. (Bold text, italics text, bbPress/phpBB, etc.)

Yeah I agree, in comparison to the rest of the site, the forums have hardly ever really been touched since at least sometime before 2009...
(Aside from changing some of the the categories)
I too would rather Roblox work on updating the forums on bigger things than a 'Bump button'. |

Support. The time limit stops constant bumping, but still allows us not to spam our forum with bumps.
