I hope this doesn't sound like your average dummy-spitting thread.
During the updates last year Roblox changed much of their layout, mostly to ease browsing on mobile devices. This added a lot of useful things, but also removed a lot of useful stuff, one of which was the "Recently Updated" section.
The page still existed for some time after they removed the link, and for a while many of us could acess it by putting "http://www.roblox.com/Catalog/Lists.aspx?m=RecentlyUpdated&c=9&t=AllTime&d=All" into our URL, however as of today this simply re-directs you to the games page.
I think that having it back could be very usefull however, because:
1. It allows new Robloxians to get their work noticed. This also cuts down on all that "Visit my place" spam.
2. It stops overtagged, false thumbnail games with lots of visits clogging up the list everytime you search for something.
3. Nearly every other website with user-created content (and a lot without) have a "Recenty submitted" or "Recently edited section. Even Roblox's Library has an "Updated" bit.
4. It makes it easier to see newer submissions. Supposing you liked castles, and had played all the castle games you could find. You could then search "Castle" in Recently Updated to see when any new Castle games had been made.
5. It's just a fun way to browse the Games page. Although there are a lot of games you probably wouldn't look twice at, sometimes there can be hidden gems hardly anyone visits.
The simplest way to bring it back would be to make the above link work again, but since Roblox are mostly focusing on their games page, it would make sense for there to be some kind of option there that lets you filter by plays, or upload date.
So yeah, that's my reasons for bringing it back. I'm not the only one who misses it, am I?

Something else that would be helpful would be this:
The ability to set the number of visits required to show on the games page.
I don't want stupid games clogging up the list.

@pricy
Sounds like a good idea.

Ah yes, say you have to have 1000 visits on your place before it's able to show on the recently updated page. I could see tons of inappropriate places being on there if it didn't have that. This will hopefully make developers release more updates! Nice idea. |

I like the idea of helping get new creations seen, however with the large number of games being updated every minute, I'm just not sure how effective it would be. |

There should be settings for it - by default, games with 500+ visits are included; you can manually change that. |

The ability to search for keywords would stop random games being flooded onto the page, as it would narrow down the amount of places to those that included the words you searched for. The "visit filter" suggested above would also help to keep the quality of places up.
Overtagging might still be an issue, but at least they'd be competing on the same ground as the other games. |

I agree with the moderator. |

@gordonrox24
That's why you should be able to set a certain number of visits required for games to show, to help reduce spam.
