A MAC address ban would prevent a person form entering roblox from the computer they are banned from. That would be an effective way to fight exploiters, who will use fake accounts to exploit. The exploiter could be permanently MAC address banned, forcing them to buy a new computer to place roblox.

A new copy of Windows will not affect a MAC address ban, since the ban is tied to the user's motherboard.
