This is just me practicing my skills of making a battle :3
Steel95 maneuvered over the rough brick terrain. He looked over his shoulder at the 20 men following his lead. He was to have a meeting with a UCR commander, being a represenetive for the X-101st. He neared the clearing where the meeting would commence. He stood at the top of a hill, looking down at the clearing. He beckoned his men over. "Stay up here, knowing UCR this could be an ambush." His men saluted, and he walked down into the clearing. Just as he did, the UCR commander slipped form the bushes.
"Glad to see you coukld make it," the UCR commander spoke.
"What is this about, UCR scum?"
"Just a little planning, specifically the planning of your funeral." At that moment 15 UCR commandos leaped formt he bushes behind the UCR commander.
"A trap!" Steel98 yelled, as his men began running down into the clearing, firing their guns.
The UCR commander pulled a pistol. "If I'm going to die, you're coming with me."
BANG! BANG!
The pain was immense. Steel95 dropped to his knees, and pulled his glock. "Rather than I die for my clan, you die for yours."
BANG!
The UCR commander dropped dead form the direct headshot. Steel95 finally let his mind fall into sweet unconsiousness, and eventually death.
Yep, he was dead, wasn't he? All he saw was black.
"Steel, wake up. We don't want to lose you, buddy," came the warm plea from Chris L. Bragg.
"I'm not... dead?" he asked, confused.
"No, you were just out cold. Come on, let's see if your legs still work," Chris responded, as Steel95 took in his surroundings. He was in a hospital tent, with some of his soldiers and Chris around him. He stood up.
"What happened to the UCR commander?"
"He died. his troops turned tail and fled, only one of our men followed the UCR commander."
"I shouldn't have fallen for it!" Steel95 yelled, outraged at himself.
"It's not your fault, Steel, he served his clan well."
Steel sank back into the bedroll. "He could've continued serving if I hadn't been so stupid!"
Chris stayed silent, what more was there to say? |
