Hey guys, so I have been bothered by this. Roblox doesn't have any app for Roblox Studio.
So that got mt thinking, Roblox Studio may be able to work on iPads! (Bad news, It's just a guess and don''t take it as it will happen. BTW Only 2 iPad's would be able to handle it)
With the power of the iPad Air and the iPad Air 2, I'm guessing they can handle roblox studio 2013/2014. They have 1GB RAM and one of the best mobile processors on the market! My iPad Air rarely lags. Think on the bright side! You could just get more memory like a 32GB or something like that. I hope Roblox listens to this. Roblox could also make an app that you can store your Roblox studio worlds in that links with your account.
Reply and support if you agree! Tons of roblox players that use iPad Air's/Air 2's need this (That is if you want to develop a game)
You could build/work on a game in the car, when it's late and you don't want to wait for your PC to boot up, Even when (Laptop users only) you forget your PC and you want to work on a game!
Sure, it MAY lag but at least it will be better than having to wait for a pc to boot up.
The iPad Air has a 1.4GHz Processor. 1GB RAM, Boots up fast. Sure, you might say (Well rare! It is 2 skinny fo a hdd or ssd which meanz it can't do it!) Well that is because tablets don't want SSD's because they are too expensive and too big and would make the tablet, less tablety. Imagine having a brick the size of an iPad (Width and length but not depth) and trying to play on it. Pretty odd having a thick tablet, eh?
Tablets prefer to rely on flash memory because it's small and fast and perfect for a tablet.

You could always double tap instead of right click oh hold down to right click
also you dont need hotkeys
couldnt roblox allow you to use your keyboard if you have one for an ipad

Roblox Studio on mobile/tablet would be useless. Imagine a tablet version Visual Studio or some other IDE - it would be impossible to do anything useful. |

This is by far the dumbest forum. You can't fit the whole studio screen on a phone, maybe a tablet. Also, you can script on a tablet. Scripting is a complex way to tell a COMPUTER what to do. Not a tablet. This.thread is so dumb it makes idiots seem smart as Albert Einstein. |

Ugh so many ignorant people here. For one, mobile devices have come a LONG way. They are way more powerful today than back in 2012 when Roblox was released on mobile. Minecraft PE is a perfect example. Back when it first came out the devs said that infinite worlds or caves will probablyl never come. Well it came, and today it is being updated with extreme speeds, surpassing the console versions, and coming even closer to the PC version, AND is running smoothly on an old Samsung Galaxy S3. And why only for iPads? Android devices are just as powerful as Apple devices and in fact, can do so much more than a simple Apple device. There is even a development IDE on Android called AIDE, which can make apps and games using code. Android and Apple devices are perfectly capable with running Roblox Studio. Of course there are problems such as controls, but that can be solved within days. If the Roblox developers stop being such potatoes, and up their programming game, Roblox Studio has an ENORMOUS chance of ending up on Android and Apple devices. |

Just my opinion but I find it FAR more comfortable to develop on my desktop:
Dual 24" 1080P LED displays on a side-by-side floating-style stand, 7 foot minimal wood desk and wireless keyboard and mouse, trumps trying to uncomfortably work on a game on a TEENY TINY SCREEN that could fall out of my lap.
I might use it on my tablet if I'm on the road and there's something urgent I need to update. Otherwise I would prefer to work at my desk, and do other things everywhere else.
I just don't find phones, tablets and other small screens comfortable to use. |
