Inspired by the numerous other theories that I occasionally see when ever I do decide to look on the forums, I decided to go ahead and end all of this to save everyone from having to some morons' (who thinks he's Einstein) theory on groups and why they're on a general decline.
Some background to support and show that I know what I'm talking about: formerly known as practice, led HAU for like 2 years, got Armed League deleted and played Isaac and made him my tool. The last three items I listed have nothing to do with this, but I just wanted to say that so he could stop trying to sneak diss me on here.
Anyways, back to this theory. I would consider it more of a law (let's go basic Science vocabulary!!!). But, the reason why groups are on the decline are because of: 1) ROBLOX's lack of attention toward the groups and more emphasis on games in general (where there's more money to be made but less loyal/dedicated players) and 2) the lack of overall role playing in armies/wars now. Let me go ahead and go in depth really quickly on each. I didn't want this to be super long, but it's going to be probably. Oh well.
Roblox and their lack of attention is something we can all agree has caused this slow and gradual decline. New direction after they knew they couldn't rely on groups to make a Benjamin led them to focusing more on what their game is all about: creativity and having that ability to make any game you want. You can't blame them either for going where the money is. The pastures are obviously greener with this new direction because of the amount of people who just play for fun (or casual gamers). Us hardcore/loyal fans are limited, and even if we all had BC, we still couldn't compete against casual gamers and the amount of money/revenue they create for the company.
Role playing used to be a huge aspect of groups. That's why you went to war - it was supposed to be like how it is in real life. No matter how dumb it sounds, when you're 12-13 years old, you like the idea. We were all at that phase once, and some of you may be going through it now. Role playing was also how each clan had an individual identity; a face for their so-called empire. The leader was the most important part - he set the tone and role played along with this idea that he controls X amount of people and needs to protect his land. Now, I do get that some groups are still trying to role play, but the issue is that everyone is trying TOO HARD to role play to the point that it's just weird to the casual person. For some people, they take this as their life. If you cannot unplug and live a normal life where it doesn't revolve around what you're doing on here, you need to go a different direction and lay off with some of the aspects.
The problem is that there's either not enough role playing or way too much. There's no in between for casual people. Not role playing enough just leaves you with a group that has no identity (ex. sword fighting clans currently who are dependent on getting as many members as possible).
I think you all get what I mean when there's "too much" role playing (see Yeller, any VAK or TGI member). Some groups try to go along with role playing (see RAT, SC, or any other clan with a 'planet'), but their ideas aren't new and fresh. It's the same damn thing over and over again. How many planets are there now anyways?
Not enough role playing... this should also be easy to grasp. Just look at a clan like BWE or VE where they're competing for whoever can get the most members and their leaders are sitting on the group as an investment.
Anyways, if this gets attention and you all adopt and worship me, then wonderful. Just know I won't be here to see you praising me or what ever. Same goes for people who are most likely going to flame me without reading nor digesting anything I just said. But hey, that's the world we live in today.
Cheers!
