What's with the new Chat System?

Ok, I haven't played ROBLOX in a month and they make some strange updates. What's with the symbols on the Name Chart as well as it always crashing and I cant get it back to its normal phase. Anyone know what happened?

They updated the leaderboard with new icons for BC, TBC, OBC, along with new icons for game creators :D.
