There IS a big difference. Exactly like step said, any random person can just follow you. Friends are the people you actually talk to and hang out with. It's nowhere near the same exact thing.

I am so mad about that... Plus when it happened my best friend added back 8 people but not me when I play with her every day... I got so mad... She only had 15 people added before it happened and BOOM! Re-adds 8 of the people but not me... |

So basically, Roblox had friends (most people have 100+) and best friends (the friends you actually play with regularly.) And with this useless update (the make roblox like twitter instead of fixing issues, making roblox more simple to navigate like it was before etc.....) they make your best friends your friends and your friends followers. Which is totally useless and just makes roblox more like facebook, twitter, etc..... So now with this useless update that does not have any purpose we have friends (the new best friends) followers (the new friends) and following (please tell me why it's exactly the same as followers because I don't know.) I hope this helped and now hopefully everyone now knows that this update was useless since it pretty much just renamed the friends list.
Also I know that anyone can just follow you without your permission but that's just stupid like might as well just rename roblox to faceblox, inta-blocks, rotwitt, redbloxs, and ro-tube! oh yeah that's right I said RO-TUBE followers are like subscribers ASWELL!!! A subscriber is nothing but a fan of your channel who shows there support so a follower is a fan of you? That's dumb.
Now ROBLOX thanks for another useless update now GO FIX SOMETHING LIKE THE TONS OF PLAYERPOINTS PEOPLE ARE ADDING TO THERE GAME OR SOMETHING!
