[Simple Rules]
- All games played at the JBL Arena (on ThousandSunnyOP's profile).
- Game officials are not allowed to lock the server.
- If a fan says "clean", that fan will be banned from the JBL Arena for a week.
- The game basketball is a non rip-back ball, it may be steal-able after 1.5 seconds as soon as the player picks up/catches the basketball.
- Subs may be called during a dead play, but must have player(s) on the "X" mark.
- Subs will have a limit of 15 seconds.
- An official timeout will be called if a team fails to have the required amount of players on the court after the existing play is dead.
[Clock Rules]
- All games must be 4v4, if not, 3v3 (minimum).
- All games consist of four 10-minute quarters.
- There is a 30 second shot-clock, it resets every possession change and when it hits rim (not backboard).
- Clock only stops when the basketball is out of bounds.
[Violations]
- A violation will be called if the team fails to pass the half-court line in under 10 seconds.
- A violation will be called if the team fails to inbound the ball in under 6 seconds.
- A violation will be called if the team's possession is longer than 30 seconds (shot-clock violation).
- Backspacing the basketball.
- "Reselecting" will cause an automatic technical.
- A player with the basketball may not throw it straight up into the air and catch it (Double Dribble).
- Self inbounds will be called a turnover, the player must pass it in to a teammate.
- No fast-break three-pointers allowed unless the your team is behind 10+.
[Fouls]
- Two free throws will be granted to the player that got fouled.
- One or two free throws (depending on foul) will be granted to the team if a technical foul is called.
- A foul is called when a player presses inside the opponent's half.
- A foul is called when a player jumps on the shooter's head or "boosts" the shooter (Why? It disrupts the shooter's shot).
- A foul will NOT be called if the player flings out of bounds or across the court (ROBLOX physics).
- six team fouls will lead to a bonus until that half ends.
- Four player fouls results in an ejection.
- Two player technicals will result in an ejection.
[Possible Reasons for Tech]
- "Slapping" on a blocked shot, or any unreasonable situation.
- Cursing at/arguing with one of the game officials.
- Players not sitting on the bench.
- Saying "clean".
- Too many men on the court (5+).
[Other Rules]
- A technical will not be called if there is an "auto slap", it's a glitch, and the play shall continue (meaning the opponent unintentionally "slaps" the ball).
- If the inbounder backspaces the ball and the opposing team takes it during a non-press situation, a foul will be called.
- If the inbounder tries to pass it in, but the ball comes back to him, the inbound will be redone.
- 7 timeouts are given to each team, timeouts do not reset at half-time.
- 2 minute intermission between each quarter, 4 minute intermission during half-time.
- A jump-ball will be called if the basketball stays on top of the backboard for five seconds.
- The losing team may full-court pressure if they're down by 6+ with under 1 minute left AND fast-break three. |
