Censoring should be based on the viewer, not the person talking. With the current system, an 18-year-old can spout out a word, and an 8-year-old will hear it. With this new system, the 18-year-old will see swearing, and the 8-year-old would not. This would also help with under-13 unnecessary censoring: 13+ users will be able to understand under-age players. If the current system is not changed, you can't really call this a kid-friendly game as at any moment someone can spout out a word if they're old enough and it will pass through to younger people.

I believe it's required for their Truste certification, as that means they can't give out personal info

Well it's getting annoying to have things like Mario and Luigi, house etc. be censored for no reason.

Censoring is simply designed to make the community a nicer place. Have you heard how much people swear or at least attempt to? It really gets annoying and it does ruin gameplay very often.

Support. As long as 13+ users don't see all swearing, like maybe minor words, then I support this.
