Should I give Divergent a try?

I didn't before because of what I've heard about it but I need something to read and I've had a friend say I should at least give it a try? Is it crap guys? I really don't know.

Its all on what you like. for the books i read all 3. The first one was good after that the second one was okay and the last one was crap. The movie didn't do the book justice tho. im so tired
