1 - What's wrong with searching to do research for a response? Beats making up some sub-genres like you did for your list.
2 - Obviously somebody does use them or your wouldn't be able to find them with a search or be able to recall them from memory.
3 - Just because "no one uses those references" doesn't mean they don't exist. Within any genre there are /always/ different styles of writing. Those different styles are subgenres. Regardless of whether or not they get a name, they do exist. |

Anyone can be a rapper. I mean seriously. All you have to do is make a few lines of words that rhyme then make a music video featuring your cheap cars ugly rims, random unattractive women dancing around you and wear some bright colored clothing that is 2 sizes too big along with cheap walmart sunglasses and a dumb haircut your sister braided for you. You also have to get your teeth plated with fake gold. Also, look! I made a rap!

Jesus Christ, mate, you just gave me cancer when I read this. A monkey can not make metal, they can make rap though! I do agree that the intense growling and blast beats can make you deaf for 5 hours, but rap just makes your ears bleed. (Ebola) Metal is still popular, if you were to go to an old Led Zeppelin show, you would still see that there are many people! Rap is popular, but only liked by the 9 year old "thugs". I do admit, Eminem is a fine artist, but rap in general...the music videos are where a man goes with his Subaru, dances with hot girls, wears cheap sunglasses, and his attire makes it look like he'd be shot in a city bus. Metal videos, however, are another story, where there is 5 highly tattooed men, with their instruments (including drums) standing on a rusty car, singing and playing. I would rather get my face torn off by a monkey than go to a rap concert, because faces grow back, when ears do not. |

OP, most of what you posted on this thread is highly incorrect and shows you're pretty oblivious to what Metal is.
The extremes of metal may sound somewhat like to you described, but there's more to it than meets the eye. The metalheads of MT may dissaprove of rorap (with good reason) but that doesnt mean you should go trashing genres you know nothing about. |

OP obviously has no knowledge on the topic of metal, and his opinion is bias. But seriously, if the metal OP listened to is just screaming and growling then he hasn't explored the depths of metal, or the atmospheric side of metal. @Chaotic, give metal a shot and explore more of the metal genres instead of making a few assumptions from listening to a few songs. |

Look man, music is subjective so whatever music you like, doesn't mean it has to be liked by everyone. Anyways, I think that both type of musicians require talent. Not every metal band screams and growls so that statement is inaccurate. |
