I have 27 games in my library, and I play CS:GO. And I still need to put a decent amount of time into more then ten of those games.
So no, you aren't alone. But it's not really PC gaming's fault.

what I meant to say was "problems with gaming on pc"
not the pc itself.

And the fact that it feels different on Consoles is probably due to the fact that you can get games for SUPER cheap during Steam sales. Just to put that in perspective, My account's worth is about $500, but if you take into account all the sales, it's only about $175.
