Definitely support. It's so annoying when I say something as casual as "school sucks" and it gets censored. ROBLOX is just making it inappropriate by censoring it. |

I kind of agree, but I see where they're coming from. However, I don't think that "svck" should be our main concern when it comes to censored words.
Roblox has censored "svck", but has also censored "c!garette", and "N@z!"...
Yet they still allow words like "ass", "hell", and "damn".
Those words are a lot worse than, of all things, "c!garette" and "N@z!".
Yes, "ass" can refer to a donkey, but when do you ever really hear it used in that manner? When referring to a donkey, a lot of people (if not most people) will just say "donkey".
Yes, "hell" can be a religious term, but since talking about religion is generally frowned upon on the website, why would you refrain from censoring it when kids are just going to use it to swear anyways?
Yes, "damn" isn't really as vulgar a swear word as maybe the F-word or the S-word, but it's a swear word either way.
You allow children to say "I'll kick your ass", "See you in hell", and "I don't give a damn", yet you censor them whenever they say things like "So my mom went out to smoke a c!garette" and "Wow, you're such a grammar N@z!". And NOW, added onto that list, no one can say "That really svcks man!".
Roblox, I really think you need to get your priorities straight. |
