Name have to be chosen properly a name like "Bob" wouldn't fit, also names have to match a species so "Starflight" wouldn't be for a Mudwing.

Skywing: A name to do with fire, flight or speed is common and should be used.
Icewing: Names that have to do with cold are good for icewings.
Mudwing: Names should be plants, things that live in the swamp or a mineral.
Nightwing: Mysterious names that have to do with space, darkness, or mind reading/prophetic
Rainwing: Names that involve flowers, or bright things.
Sandwing: Names that are gems, or named after objects in the desert.
Seawing: Names that have to do with the sea.

Features and abilities are very different depending on the race of dragon,
I will list all the powers
Skywing: Have the chance to be born with extra fire.
Icewing: Breathe ice.
Mudwing: CAN be immune to fire/regenerate from fire quickly.
Nightwing: CAN read minds and tell the future.
Rainwing: Spews out acid.
Sandwing: Has a poisonous barb at the end of tail.
Seawing: Glow in the dark scales, has gills.
Animus: Animus dragons are rare, they have the power to enchant things, but each time they do, they lose a part of their soul.
