Oh yeah, mega. It's probably interesting for me. |
Well... Have fun with whatever you are doing! |
Supahero one.
Darn, twas a shame it died.
And I didn't even initiate some sort of helicopter chase sequence. |
Helicopter chase sequence... Sounds cool |
It's my sort of, tagline, if you will. Executing chase sequences with vehicles. |
Who knows!? Maybe the RP will be remade! |

I really don't know how you did it Sassy
But in under 1000 posts, and a few months, you're one of the most disliked people on RP
Even I don't like you, and I like everyone
Anyway, onto the topic.
I'm game for any fantasy RP
Not enough around now-a-days

Don't worry rock, I will. |
All because I don't take "advice" well. At least the people at the RP site I'm RPing in at least shows me constructive criticism instead of just insulting me. |
We did give you constructive criticism
Sure it was harsh, but no less true

Lego, the problem is that harsh constructive criticism gets to the point were it isn't even constructive anymore. When your too harsh with criticism, and inconsiderate in the way you word it, it just gets to be abrasive and rude. |
You're far to nice mega
Not all of the criticism that Sassy was given was harsh
Some of it was very polite
But she out right refused to listen
Sassy has been branded as an idiot, who refuses to be helped
And if she refuses TO be helped, she deserves that brand

Yeah.
Look at it this way: if you don't shove the truth down their throats, it goes through one ear and out the other. |
If they don't listen to you the first time, then don't waste your time. They wont listen even if you force it down their throat, they'll just barf it up back onto you.
When some one refuses to listen, being rude rarely does much. It just gets people riled up and irritable. |
I wish some people have the same mindset as you....
But noooo, we're stuck with people who don't know the difference between a troll and a moron because they're usually one or the other. |
I'll take that as a compliment, WiFi.
Your right. Most people don't know the difference. |
"if you don't shove the truth down their throats, it goes through one ear and out the other."
Quite the contrary, actually.
Let's take Christianity, for example. If a street minister stands on a street corner and condemns any nonbelievers to Hell unless they convert, his message isn't going to be well received by nonbelievers. Whereas, if he takes a milder approach and, say, invites a nonbeliever to church without getting too preachy, he might actually convince them to attend at least one Sunday morning service.
If you want to produce favorable results, you're going to have to take a milder approach. |
Exactly, Tai. Thank you.
People don't listen to people who yell at them, or condemn them, or try to force things down their throats.
At least, most people I've met don't. |
Usually it just works if you yell.
point: Sometimes people are so ignorant and just plain defiant you have to yell. You can't take a milder approach when you're dealing with the downright stupid. |
I understand your argument
But Sassy is a different case
She continues to make RPs without attempting to learn, or listen to criticism.
Continues to set herself up on a high horse
And continues to play the victim, while simultaneously attacking others, namely Rock
I cannot condone that manner of stupidity

I have an example.
Take, for example, I'm working a factory job. I make cars, and I screw up on one car. My boss is albeit kind, so lets me off and shows me how to do it right.
On day X, I screw up a number of times, and the boss is angry because he showed me numerous times how to make the car.
Finally, he yells at me and tells me to do it the right way, and since I'm so flipping scared, I don't screw up again.
If you get people scared, they'll listen. |
"point: Sometimes people are so ignorant and just plain defiant you have to yell. You can't take a milder approach when you're dealing with the downright stupid."
Refusing to take advice from a stranger makes one "ignorant"? That statement is pretty ignorant in itself. And, no one is stupid for not taking your crummy advice, Rock. No one is authorized to listen to you. You can make suggestions, but you can't make demands. I'd gladly rip apart one of your RPs and demand that you improve or otherwise face severe consequences if that will put it in perspective for you. |
