All the scam and bad/free model games don't allow comments because they are afraid people will read them and back off due to warnings from the public, so they close them. But my idea is, if a game reaches 51% thumbs downs, the game will lock comments on, so no matter what the creator's input is, people can comment.
Comments would be removed if the game gets enough thumbs up (only if the creator wants them to be removed of course) and if it dips back below 49% thumbs up, the comments will be restored. |

I feel like this would ruin the fun for those users who are new to the system. I was on that boat when I made my first place and when I posted my first ad. It wasn't a fun sensation to experience considering how young I was. |

But do these stupid free-modeled games ruin the fun for the majority of people. I mean, if you don't want to read comments, that is your choice, but being able to make sure the community is aware of what a game is important, and not allowing comments on games with so many thumbs down just doesn't seem right. |

I support this 100%. Free-modeled games are the worst. Some players may use just a single model and give credit to the maker of it, but most games don't do this and just copy an entire map and slap a fun name on it and slap a lame copied thumbnail on it as well. It disgusts me, and it needs to stop with the power of the review. Free-modeled game makers take away this privilege whenever they want to, and thus take away that power. If this idea gets accepted we'll be seeing much less free-modeled games on our Games page.
In summary, this is one of the best ideas there is on this forum, and in my opinion should get accepted. |

Example: There is a new game on the front page of ROBLOX called Kidnapped (RP).
The game, before you play it looks perfectly legitimate, with a decent description and thumbnails.
*You scroll down to the comments to see whether the game is worth your time or not, you see that the comments are disabled, so you just go into the game to see for yourself.
What do you find? A row of free modeled houses and a free modeled "Blox-Mart".
This game has 70% thumbs down.
If my idea was implemented, * would not happen, because the comments would be forced on, and you will see, of course, the inevitable spam, but also people warning about the game being a free-model mess and not worth your time, so you would not bother.
This will DESTROY scammers like that, and the under-played treasures of ROBLOX will get to the front page instead of this trash. |

Lets be honest: Freemodeled games may be a sign of either poor building or poor scripting skill, or both. That doesn't mean that the person is bad at map design. For example, lets say I used a free modeled planet in my space game. I used it everywhere, for every planet, but changed the coloring. And I also used a free modeled space ship and space station parts. However, the game is very fun to play. Free models are put out there for a REASON, and people CHOOSE to publish their models. I think that, while most free modeled games are crap, there are some good ones. So just because a game is made of free models doesn't mean it sucks. |

You know, this new Kidnapped game is a PERFECT example of this. 80% thumbs downs but it's remained as the most popular game since last night!!!!!! Is it original? No. Does it use free models? Yes. Does it allow comments? NO!!!
With comments, no bad game could survive because people would warn others not to play the game due to it's bad content or just straight-up copied. |

UPDATE: The houses the game uses are the houses from Welcome To The Town Of ROBLOXIA.
The Blox-mart is also from the same 1dev2 classic.
The school and hospital are ALSO the same as Welcome To The Town Of ROBLOXIA.
