I would definitely let my kid play football. Hockey isn't much better when you get older, and besides I'm sure the injury issues will be better by the time I have kids.

I play football. I'm scared to death now that I'm moving up to the high school level and there will be some huge kids. I started playing in third grade, and I've never had a concoussion detected ever, but I'm worried about the ones that went undetected. I would say when they hit 7th or 8th grade I'll let them play.

No. Having been the actual only SFer to play HS football here, I would say it's a waste of talent and the injuries are not worth it. |

id never force my kids to do anything they dont want to, like sports or music
if they want to play football they can. if they start getting injuries ill probably pull them out
