------ Summary ------- Customized developer products would allow players to customize their game experience without all of the developer hassle today. What are customized developer products? This new idea would allow devs to create developer products through scripts, in real time. ------ Examples ------ Developers could have items in their games that players could rent for robux. With the current developer product system, developers are forced to create increments in time in which the players can rent the item for. This is due to the fact that developer products have to be made through the website, and it would be a HUGE hassle for developers to create hundreds of developer products. To simplify, they go with increments like 1 day, 1 week, or even 1 month. With this new system, players would be able to enter in the EXACT amount of days they want to rent that item for, without the dev having to pre-create a developer product for the player. Purchasing items with several different options and add-ons would now be much easier for the developer. Instead of having to calculate all of the possible options and creating a developer product for it and putting it in the game, all a developer would have to do is get the total of everything that the customer wants and create a new developer product for them on the spot. Buying currency games is also very popular among game players. This feature would empower developers to allow customers to specify the exact amount of currency they want without having to go through the hassle of having specific developer product increments. ------ What can I do to help? ------ We need your support in order to make this happen. It would also help to spread this among social media and with your friends, as every support counts in making this feature a possibility! ------ How would this feature be used? ------ We are creating the customized developer products model based off of the current create and save place async. These can be called through the Asset Service. Some current yield functions of the AssetService are CreatePlaceAsync(), CreatePlaceInPlayerInventoryAsync(), SavePlaceAsync(), GetGamePlacesAsync(), and more. The way the customized developer products would be used is under the Marketplace Service. The newly created yield functions could be called something like CreateDeveloperProductAsync(), with the parameters being something like int price, [CurrencyType currencyType = Default], string name, and string description. This would create a new developer product with a custom price, currency type that can be chosen with a custom name and description. This would then return an assetId, which could be saved by the server for receipts and statistics. That was the problem I was trying to solve. It's not exactly fun to spend an hour making 100 different developer products and then putting them into your game. I see where you're coming from, but I feel that this system would be more efficient and less of a hassle.

Support, I'd so much rather the user choose, as for one of your examples, the amount of in-game cash that they'd like to purchase, rather than I personally having to decide what is reasonable.
