Infinite Size = Infinite Processing power = Infinite Lag Go troll in OT.

@reptiledude10 Well the lag would be your fault wouldn't it? Also, how in the hell am I "trolling"? Do you even know what trolling is, or is it just something you picked up on and say because you think it's cool? I don't post in OT anyway.

also, it takes a humanoid 128 seconds to walk 2048 studs. not happy? copy your super long part.

That's what we all do, though I figured it would be easier to cover a vast area with a single or few parts rather than a giant grid of 2048x2048 parts

who would make a giant grid of 2048x2048 parts lol only one 2048x2048 is more than enough. git out please.

2048x2048 is not enough. This is exactly why I created this place: http://www.roblox.com/65536x65536-place?id=190266860 Try joining the game. I'll donate you my full 1,245 tickets if you are able to join the game. So far several people have tried but none succeeded.

"who would make a giant grid of 2048x2048 parts lol" People who need lots of space to test things such as fast cars? "only one 2048x2048 is more than enough." Obviously you've never attempted making a large game if you think one is more than enough

support. About the lag you guys are talking about. That really isn't the case. Two parts of the same size take longer to render and process their collisions then a single part with the combined size of both. ROBLOX saves the size vectors with floating point's so the size could easily be larger without any performance hit. I really can't think of a single con to this suggestion. BTW: Aren't you guys going a bit far bashing his ideas?

Small note to be made: For precision reasons there should still be a limit. But that limit can be way larger. Something like 2 147 483 647 (2 power 31 minus 1) should be fine since even a normal integer can hold that. (if you didn't understand that, don't worry, just think: the max size can be larger than anyone will ever need.)

Good idea, but I don't think the average computer or even roblox's system could handle parts that are 2 billion studs tall. Respect the science!

I don't see a reason for this. You would DEFINITELY not need a part to have infinite dimensions.

GodShowsTheWay 262144 parts. Yeah, not joining that. I have trouble with 100k parts.
