I'm wanting to upload 3 audios for a gun. A sound for taking the mag out, a sound for putting the mag in, and a sound for cocking the chamber. Problem is, I'll end up having 400 R$ at the end. Because it costs 100 R$ to upload a single audio. Seems rather costly when you have to make a game with your own audios doesn't it? Well, I thought that maybe ROBLOX should lower the price for it. Like maybe lower it to 25 or 50 R$. That would be much more reasonable. So what do you think of this idea?

First reply! Yes, I would agree for ROBLOX to low down the price, espically when the player is NBC, it would help a lot to make their game/model/place better.

Maybe the price could depend on the length of the sound. If it reaches the 120 second max it could end up being 100 R$ or something of the sort.

You're paying for some most likely copyrighted sounds.

"You're paying for some most likely copyrighted sounds." I'm not making money off of them. And they aren't either. All the sounds I got are from ROBLOX's Catalog.

I agree. They are overpriced.

I recommend for short sounds to upload a lot of them within one audio file, with a break of several seconds in-between each one, writing the time in milliseconds each sound starts relative to the start. Then have the gun script use TimePosition to play one specific sound in the audio, stopping it using :stop() a moment after it ends.

Inb4 you realise you can technically make a 2 minute long audio with multiple effects, and play certain ones at certain times.

You can. There is a property in the Sound.

Good to know. I've had that idea before, but never bothered to check the wiki to see if it was possible, and assumed it wasn't. lol -I'm an expeят ツ

I'm sure there are plenty of developers who try to do this. But the problem is, the TimePosition can only be changed when it is in Workspace with a ServerScript or if it is in a local space with a localscript.

"400 is nothing dude" Maybe for you. But once you create something full of audio made by you.. Please tell me the price then

Current price and all my audio would cost over 64,000 R$. I don't have that. Get my point now?

It's not like ROBLOX's servers can hold infinite amounts of data... besides, why can't you spend the 300 ROBUX? If you have enough, buy the audio then. If you don't have enough, it is your problem.

Agreed, audio is pretty expensive and hard to pay at the moment..

In my opinion, the cost of the audio should depend on how long it is.
