Kanye doesn't suck, check out his first few albums, his demotape, and My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.
Kanye was very similar to Notorious B.I.G. the way he got noticed, he did a lot of freestyles in front of random people just to get someone to hear him and possibly sign him.
And you have to admit Kanye's production is really bomb. |

Eminem is horrible compared to a lot of other rappers.
Prime examples would be:
Masta Ace, Kool G Rap, Big Daddy Kane, Slick Rick, Big Pun, Nas, Chuck D, Percee P, Black Thought
The list goes on.
Eminem's originality is amazing, no doubt, but he's not the best there ever was.
The people he got his flow from are much, MUCH better than him no matter his Infinite days or Slim Shady days.
I won't say Eminem is hip-hop because no doubt he is, but, he's not hip-hop in the sense of his whole presence.
He is his own thing, he's definitely A rap-god. But if Eminem is a rapgod Kanye and all the people I mentioned above gotta be god's too.

That's true - besides the influence of other MC's he's got in his flow.
This isn't saying he's not unique, but he's got his obvious influences.
He said in older interviews that Masta Ace and Big Pun kind of influenced his flow back then.
and BEFORE that (Around Infinite) he was sounding a lot like Jay-Z, Nas, and AZ.
Now a days, I don't know what he bases his flow off of, but in one of his newer songs he said a few lines about Locksmith (a newer emcee) comparing his own flow to Lock's, so that's one of the newer influences. |
