Okay, I've never bothered with the forums. Ever. I'm not sure if this is the right topic. But I need help.
In Studio, I've been building my place, as usual. Then I click "Play" and the whole thing just falls. No joke. It just does.
I literally tore the place apart. I first thought the base was not anchored, but everything was. It still fell. I started deleting parts, ALL THE WAY DOWN TO THE BASEPLATE. Even then the world still would fall into oblivion.
Someone tell me it can be fixed. I can't really find an answer anywhere (probably not looking in the right place). If it's not fixable, I'll lose hours of work. Please help me out, somebody. |

You need to anchor it. You can do this by going into the bricks properties and selecting anchor |
|
|
You probably inserted a free model not long ago, which unanchors every part in your game once you're playing. |

Select all your bricks go to properties ,find anchor and check the box. |

Well, nobody listened to me at all.
I've been here since 2011. I know that unanchored bricks fall.
As you did not seem to notice, I repeatedly anchored the place. It still falls, and it is anchored. I've removed the WHOLE GAME, and had the baseplate anchored. It still falls.
I think it has something to do with old models or places, because whenever I use an older place, this happens.
But, please, don't tell me I'm stupid and I should anchor it. I know this. It is anchored. It still falls. |

Also, to be 100% sure I wasn't wrong, I checked the "anchor" box, in Properties.
Nope. |

Maybe raise the whole place up. Like, select it all then move it upwards far. If does not work make it higher, still doesn't? Idk

See if it is unanchored in build mode.
Insert a part, then use a rocketforce or whatever to keep it hovering,p ut things on it to see if it unanchored. Heck, you could insert rocketforce on ONLY the baseplate and bam, fixed.

Or just copy bits at a time into a new place. |

I'll try your ideas. Just please, don't tell me it needs anchoring. |

I dunno what it was, but copying the place into a new game worked for some reason. |

this is why you make your own game and dont use free models. |
