Dear Beloved Kestrelians,
Writing this letter has been one of my hardest tasks that I've had to do in my time with Kestrel. I guess, the proper way to begin this is with a quote: "all good things must come to an end". You've probably guessed it, but I am announcing my retirement as Vice President of Kestrel. Kestrel has been home to many memories, and I am fortunate to have had the oppurtunity to be a part of such an amazing community. I would not take back any moment of the one and a half years that I have been in this community. Deciding to retire has been a decision that was hard, but long thought-out.
My time an Kestrel has been super rewarding. Words cannot describe my journey through this great community. I began as a Sales Associate under the administration of FighterAce. I continued to be appointed on the Board of Directors under FighterAce. XT0NISH's presidency brought me to the rank of Chief Operational Officer. Under DrReli's administration, I finally rose to the rank of Chief Executive Officer and Vice President. I could never have imagined making it this first. I especially want to thank XT0NISH for bringing me to Kestrel and DrReli for keeping me in Kestrel. I truly wish the best for both of you as you pass from Kestrel and ROBLOX.
I do owe you a response as to why I am retiring. You deserve to know my reasoning as I have carried so much love for each and every one of you. In my time in business, I have learned that in order to be a true hero, you need to know when its your time to move on. With my leaving, I feel it will give rise to oppurtunity for Interns, Sales Associates, and other Staff members to become future Presidents and Vice Presidents of Kestrel. I feel I have brought Kestrel as far as I can and its time for someone else to do more great things in my position. I leave with hope for a brighter future in Kestrel as a result of our younger employees. Kestrel is in a dark time right now, but the future is ready to be written by our upcoming staff.
For those of you who really know me, you know that I love lectures and positive quotes. I want to build my legacy through the good will and work of our current employees and customers. I want to leave you with some of the things Kestrel has taught me. I hope you will take these and reflect upon them in your own career.
• Business can be a harsh, greedy, immoral game, but it doesn't have to be that way. When I leave Kestrel, I wont remember the greedy, money-suffocated, fame-corrupted people, instead, I will remember the energetic employees and customers with a good heart. I will remember how those nice people made me feel. Please be positive because the light always triumphs over the dark. A story is never over until there is a happy ending. There is always hope for people to be good and it is truly contagious.
• There is good in everbody. I have a history of fighting for people who might not have been the most-liked in the high rank. That is because I know there is good in everybody you just have to find it. You can never give up on anyone because then they will give up on themselves. I promise there is good in everybody, you just have to look for it.
• Most importantly, no matter who you are or what you do, you can be an inspiration. Beyond Kestrel and ROBLOX, you have the power and ability to leave a profound affect on a person's life and morals. Be a role model. Everyday, even in the slightest way, you will help mold a person for their future and beyond. Be an inspiration for someone, it is our moral obligation.
So, what's next for EBear? I definitely plan to stay in Kestrel, hopefully as a Noted Customer. I have recently joined a ROBLOXian school as an Assistant Principal, I am excited to start working there. I also plan to join a smaller clothing group to help them grow. Don't leave Kestrel, but, hopefully, you can join me in my new journey.
I WILL TRULY, WITH ALL MY HEART, MISS YOU ALL! YOU HAVE BEEN AN INSPRIATION ON MY LIFE AND I WILL NEVER FORGET YOU. WORDS CANNOT DESCRIBE HOW GRATEFUL I AM FOR YOU. I GUESS THE ONLY THING I CAN LEAVE YOU WITH IS THIS....thank you so very much. c:
